Hearty Walk – 1 – 4pm Sunday the 13th February.
A healthy heart requires a healthy mind, body and soul and a harmonious community filled with love and happiness.
Following last year’s success Birthing Link is supporting The BHF (registered Charity No. 225971) for a 2nd year as we raise the profile of Love and Positive Hearty Health in our community.
Birthing Link is a Supportive Prenatal Network and is non for profit community group. Our aims are in increase positive health positive pregnancy and positive parenting. We have a passion to support innovative and regeneration enterprise ideas in our community.
Each year we will support the BHF and raise the profile of other local health related services, businesses and organisation in our community as we increase well being and positive health via this Hearty Walk event.
Hearty Walk is ‘Calling EVERYONE’ - We aim to gather all walks of life to this event, as well as local businesses and projects. Together we raise the profile of this ‘Hearty Walk’ within our local community. Share a walk with us, that is sure to be filled with love, heart, fun, health information and community spirit.
This community based 5 km Hearty Walk is taking place in Bognor Regis and check in is from 1:15 to 1:45pm at The Waverley family pub in Aldwick. The Hearty Walk starts prompt at 2:00pm from the promenade opposite The Waverley. We will then walk, YES walk this is not a run, along the promenade that runs along our beautiful seafront with a refreshment stop at the Lobster Pot Cafe before heading back to finish for a warm cuppa at the Waverley. We then celebrate with a community sponsored raffle and have other health promotion information points.
There is no fee – all we ask is that each adult walker / Team supports us by fundraise via sponsorships or donations.
Each person over the age of 4 years old must registered
All participants will receive a goody bay with sponsored items
Water and a finishing cuppa to warm up all up will be kindly provided by the Waverly.
Requests: You must wear something RED and bring lots of fun, love, laughter, motivation and enthusiasm.
Butlins in Bognor Regis have kindly donated a free family pass for all those who take part.

What percentage of the donation goes to what?
Last year we gave 100% to BHF and this year after administration cost 50% will go to BHF and 50% will go Birthing Link’s ongoing community project.
